Thanks for the pricing. I just went to some gizmo shop and he was quoting Rs.17.7 k for a 8gb touch. I new there was something wrong. Even planet M is selling it at a much higher rate.

The actual price for 8gb is 17.7 and 23.6 for 16 gb. The prices mentioned in the blog is from the grey market. You will not het a warranty from Apple India.
Has anyone tried Wifi browsing on Ipod touch in India??
I have used the wifi on Iphone and the experience is superb. I hope the ipod touch would be able to reproduce it.

Wifi is wireless internet i.e available in most of the offices, cafe coffeday outlets , airports etc.
The service provider can be any isp in this case.
The safari browser is one of the best browsers on mobile platform.

hey seems skimming is going on with retail apple resseller, in bangalore i got it for 12500 2g, but from the grey market,,it doesnt affect your warrant as you hv to register it to apple site..a grat product, waitin for the quickpwn..if anybody from bangalore want the address of the shop glad to help.
